The Resort is located on Lady Elliot Island, a coral cay situated at the southern tip of Australia’s iconic Great Barrier Reef. The island sits in a highly protected Green Zone within the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef & is a sanctuary for over 1,200 species of marine life. The Island is regarded as one of the best snorkelling & diving destinations on the Great Barrier Reef with manta rays, turtles, dolphins, reef sharks, humpback whales (in season) and the entire cast of Finding Nemo, all found in the waters surrounding the island.
Divers can experience the true wonders of the Great Barrier Reef without the need for a long boat trip & you can snorkel straight from the beach!

The resort is a true Eco Resort as there is no supplied electricity, no mains water or wastewater treatment operation and no weekly garbage truck! The Resort produces its own electricity, desalinates its own water, treats all water & sewage and removes ALL waste whilst adhering to its sustainability objectives of minimal impact on the planet.
