ABOUT THIS LIVEABOARD

Pro Dive Cairns will take you out aboard one of their three custom-built vessels for a 2-night and 3-day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Departing from Cairns early on day one you will make your way to the outer reef. With up to four outer reefs to choose from you know, you will have the best diving suited for the conditions. Combine this with up to four dives each day, including a night dive, with three on the last day, you will see diverse soft corals, hard corals and pelagic fish. This area is also known for is Hawksbill and green turtles with some over one meter in size. Match this with friendly crew and great food you will experience the Great Barrier Reef like never before.

BOAT INCLUSIONS

General Inclusions

12L or 10L aluminium dive tank (yoke valves), weights and weight belt

Full dive equipment - 5mm wetsuit in winter, stinger suit (full body thin lycra suit), mask, snorkel, closed heel fins, BCD and regulator (with compass & dive computer).

Transfer to & from your hotel to the marina, on the day of embarkation and disembarkation only.

Free WiFi on board

Dive insurance is covered while on board the Pro Dive Cairns Vessel only. The insurance does not cover any travel or pre-departure dive medical related costs.

Government Environmental Management Charge, Port Departure Tax and administration charges. $80 AUD - INCLUDED -

Local tax - GST (on booking cost only)

All meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner + snacks

Air-conditioned cabin - central controlled, not individual controlled.

Accommodation based on two sharing (twin or double) depending on your cabin choice (single use extra).

FREE Reef Teach Evening + Fish ID Card to take underwater - Value $35 but a lifetime of knowledge - The Reef Teach presentation is a very entertaining evening, full of amazing facts, beautiful images, and the opportunity to handle a wide range of corals and other marine specimens – including some of the dangerous creatures you wouldn’t want to touch if they were alive! It will amaze, inspire, and captivate you, and have you laughing about the funny facts and weird and wonderful ways in which the reef works! Reef Teach is staffed by qualified marine biologists (all have PhD’s or MSc degrees), who aim to educate, inspire and enthuse visitors to the Great Barrier Reef about this unique and incredible place. Visit www.reefteach.com.au - one person, free evening visit before or after the dive trip (but best before), + underwater Fish ID card - given after the presentation.

Type of Meals

All Pro Dive vessels provide their guests with a buffet style meal. This includes a main with a range of salads and bread, for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a combination of hot options, with cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and bread. The vessel can cater to special dietary requirements (within reason), please inform on booking about your requirements, well in advance. Also, a selection of fresh fruit and some tasty treats are available after dives., should you feel peckish in between meal times.

Drinks

Fresh brewed coffee, teas and filtered water are available.

General Exclusions

Travel & Diving Insurance is for the traveller to organise before travel. (Dive insurance is covered while on board the Pro Dive Cairns Vessel only. The insurance does not cover any travel or dive medical related costs).

No Visas ( responsibility of traveller)

No International or domestic flights are included

Waiver Release & Indemnity Deed form will need to be signed before departure, any medical costs associated are to be covered by the traveller

Crew gratuities

Soft drink, fruit juices, and chocolate bars are available for an extra cost.

Any Optional Activities which may include but not limited to: Dive Courses, nitrox fills

No Alcohol is available on board - you may bring your own, guest fridge available.
