Pro Dive Cairns will take you out aboard their custom-built vessel for a 2-night, 3-day trip to the Great Barrier Reef.
Departing Sunday, from Cairns early on day one you will make your way to the outer reef. With up to four outer reefs to choose from, you know, you will have the best diving suited for the conditions. Combine this with up to four dives each day, including a night dive, with three on the last day, you will see diverse soft corals, hard corals and pelagic fish. This area is also known for Hawksbill & Green turtles, with some over one meter in size. Match this with the friendly crew & great food, you will experience the Great Barrier Reef like never before!
12L or 10L aluminium dive tank (yoke valves), weights and weight belt
Full dive equipment - 5mm wetsuit in winter, stinger suit (full body thin lycra suit), mask, snorkel, closed heel fins, BCD and regulator (with compass & dive computer).
Transfer to & from your hotel to the marina, on the day of embarkation and disembarkation only.

It will amaze, inspire, and captivate you, and have you laughing about the funny facts and weird and wonderful ways in which the reef works! Reef Teach is staffed by qualified marine biologists (all have PhD’s or MSc degrees), who aim to educate, inspire and enthuse visitors to the Great Barrier Reef about this unique and incredible place. All Pro Dive vessels provide their guests with a buffet style meal. This includes a main with a range of salads and bread, for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a combination of hot options, with cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and bread. The vessel can cater to special dietary requirements (within reason), please inform on booking about your requirements, well in advance. Also, a selection of fresh fruit and some tasty treats are available after dives., should you feel peckish in between meal times.
Fresh brewed coffee, teas and filtered water are available.
Travel & Diving Insurance is for the traveller to organise before travel. (Dive insurance is covered while on board the Pro Dive Cairns Vessel only. The insurance does not cover any travel or dive medical related costs).

Cairns - The Great Barrier Reef
Choose your own dive buddy or the crew will allocate one for you. Prior to every dive, a comprehensive briefing will be given by the dive supervisor to assist with your navigation and direct you to areas of interest at each site. A guided dive on the first dive of the trip and the first-night dive, is offered, to assist guests with their initial orientation to diving on the Great Barrier Reef. All other dives are buddy dives, which are not guided. 12l (80cf) tanks, weights, all dive equipment, wetsuit or lycra suit in summer, is included. Up to four dives on day one & day two, including night dives, and up to three dives on day three are offered. Dive sites will be decided on the weather and diving conditions, to make the safest environment for the diver. All diving onboard should be within the limits and standards of the training agency that certified you. All dives should be planned no-decompression dives.
The warm waters of Tropical North Queensland are ideal for year round diving. Water temperature can vary from 22- 24° C (71° to 75°F) April to October and 25-28° C (75° to 85°F) November to March.
