The Indo Siren will visit the Raja Ampat, also referred to as the Four Kings, area on this 10-night and 11-day trip. Dive the areas around the islands, Waigeo, Batanta, Misool, and Mansuar. This itinerary offers diverse diving and conditions. The area around Batanta is renowned for muck diving with Mimic Octopus, Dragonets, and of course colorful Nudibranchs. Whereas Misool Island offers dramatic underwater scenery from steep walls with huge Gorgonian Fans to gentler slopes with hard and soft corals. Then we have Mansuar Island and the Dampier Strait. These areas offer fast and slow drift dives and schools of pelagic fish. See Black Mantas, sharks, and even Pygmy Seahorses in the sea fans. Raja Ampat offers something for everyone and everything in between. A must visit destination for every diver.

Indonesia is a tropical country and the climate is fairly even all year round being roughly divided into two distinct seasons; 'wet' and 'dry'. The east monsoon, from June to September brings dry weather while the west monsoon, from December to March, brings rain. The transitional period between these two seasons alternates between gorgeous sun-filled days and occasional thunderstorms. Even in the midst of the wet season temperatures range from 21°C (70°F) to 33°C (90°F).The water temperatures in the Flores Sea hardly vary, keeping to a nice: 26-28°C (79- 83°F), with usually clear blue waters and great visibility. The Savu Sea has an average temperature of 24°C (75°F) but can drop as low as 21°C (70°F). The Banda Sea is slightly warmer than the Savu Sea with average water temperatures of 26°C (79°F). Raja Ampat, including Misool has year-round temperatures of 26-29°C (80-84°F). For the majority of our guests a 3mm full wetsuit will suffice for the warmer water dives. A 5mm full wetsuit in combination with hood, gloves and booties is recommended for the cooler waters. Onboard any Siren Fleet yacht, a 3mm shorty is always available to rent free of charge for all guests.
