DAY 1

Arrive at Honiara Internationa Airport (IATA code HIR) and meet your local representative from the Master Fleet. They will transfer you to the vessel. If you are already in Honiara make your own way to the Coral Sea Resort. Meet your fellow divers and the crew. After a safety briefing, the boat will head off to its first destination. Dinner included. (Please note: this is a sample itinerary only, the crew will find the best diving with location and dive sites subject to weather and diving conditions; with the safety of the divers and crew foremost; and that there is no guarantee to see any stated Discovery). (Transfer only valid on the day of embarkation).

DAY 2

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: Tulagi Island - the beautiful dive site of the Japanese Mavis Seaplane that sunk during one of the battles in WWII will be visited. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 3

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: Maravagi Island - if conditions are right there is the Devils Highway which has Manta rays cruising past. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 4

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: White Beach - This location was home to a major American supply base during WWII, which at the end of the war, an artificial reef was created by dumping trucks, jeeps, tractors, bulldozers & large amounts of ammunition. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 5

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: Kavachi Korner - all kinds of reef sharks are hanging out here, making for incredible diving., but listen for the rumble of Kavachi - an underwater volcano - that has been particularly active recently & cracking & booming can be heard underwater. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 6

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive location: Wickham Harbour - around this island, there are some beautiful dive sites with something for everyone including soft coral points, huge sea fans, sharks and rays; great for macro diving, with pygmy seahorses, cuttlefish, crocodile fish, snake eels & many different species of anemonefish; plus a wreck of a large Japanese cargo vessel sunk by American bombers in WW2, a stunning, photogenic wreck, covered in black corals. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 7

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: Mbulo Island - This island is surrounded by spectacular diving on all sides with six unique dive sites; a gently sloping wall covered in fields of hard and soft corals for a drift dive; long swim-throughs in volcanic lava tubes allow for amazing photography opportunities. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 8

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: Mary Island - this island is notable for an underwater point that commonly hosts schools of barracuda & trevally; explore the cuts & caverns behind Jack Point or the Coral Gardens right below the boat. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 9

You will have up to four dives (including a possible night dive if offered). Possible dive site: Karamulon Point - patrolling white & blacktip reef sharks will greet you here as they cruise the wall, also white-spotted eagle rays can also be found heading out in deep water. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 10

As today is your last day you will have the up to two dives. Settle any accounts that you have. Farewell dinner. Possible sites: Ghavutu Island - is home to at least 13 known Mavis (Japanese) planes & at least one Catalina (American) plane; the nearby wharf was a dumping ground for WWII detritus and has become a muck divers dream where we can find blue ribbon eels, pipefish, a variety of nudibranch & flatworms now hiding among the rubble. Breakfast, lunch & dinner included.

DAY 11

Disembark at the Coral Sea Resort and meet your local Master representative who will transfer you to Honiara International Airport (IATA code HIR). If staying at a local hotel please make your own way. Breakfast included. Transfer included on the day of disembarkation only.
