ABOUT THIS DIVE RESORT

14 - 22 December 2023

A true paradise away from civilization, distractions & interruption, The Conflict Islands has 6 private beachfront bungalows situated on Panasesa Island, the largest island of 21, that make up the Conflict Islands Atoll

The well-appointed resort is surrounded by lush vegetation with clear, blue waters. The accommodation is air-conditioned beachfront bungalows, featuring modern luxuries each with its own ensuite. Gourmet meals are included with indoor & outdoor relaxation & diving Areas.

The waters surrounding the islands are full of life. Assessments conducted in Milne Bay recorded nearly 430 species of stunning colourful corals, 950 species of molluscs & over 1,100 species of fish, many found nowhere else. This year the area was recognised & made a “Hope Spot” by Mission Blue. Hope spots are special places that are scientifically identified as critical to the health of the ocean.

The Conflict Islands works hard to ensure that the islands & marine environment remain pristine with reef surveys & their turtle sanctuary. The sanctuary runs all year round to cater to the sick & injured turtles, with local islanders employed as Rangers, which is needed between November to March to ensure the safety & protection of nesting turtles.

With stunning diving (over 50 sites), great food, and beautiful scenery it will leave you wanting to come back again & again!
