This 10 night and 11-day dive trip will take you to several islands aboard the Philippine Siren. You will visit Malapascua Island, one of the few dive spots in the world where the shy Thresher Shark maybe seen on a daily basis. On a cleaning station called Monad Shoal, you could also see Manta Rays or Eagle Rays. Also in this area Hammerhead sharks frequent from December to May, along with other Pelagic Fish, like Dogfish Tuna and Dolphins. You will also have an abundance of Macro/ Muck Diving with shallow reefs which are littered with frogfish, Ghost Pipefish, Cowries, Seahorses, Mantis Shrimp. Further on is Gato Island, a Marine Reserve, and Seasnake sanctuary, with a site called Nudibranch City. Pescador Island attracts large schools of Sardines which is an experience in itself but also brings bigger Pelagic Fish to feed. Dependant on the guest wishes you can snorkel at Oslob with the Whalesharks (for a fee), as a dive will be substituted. Apo Island Marine Reserve is one of the most successful marine sanctuaries in the Philippines, with steep walls; marine life is abundant and colorful. All Siren Fleet yachts provide their guests with a choice of international and local cuisine served buffet style in the outdoor dining area. The vessel can cater to special dietary requirements (within reason), please inform on booking about your requirements, well in advance. Also, a selection of fresh fruit and some tasty treats are readily available, should you feel peckish in between meal times.
Filtered water, a well-selected range of carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, black, green and herbal teas are available at all times, as well as instant and freshly brewed coffee. Guests may also select local beer, but once alcohol is consumed no more diving for that day. Wine or spirits from the bar for an additional fee.
No International or domestic flights are included
Extra Rental equipment - Dive computer, underwater torch - pre-book possible when booking, payment on board.
Travel and Diving Insurance is for the traveller to organise before travel (must be shown on board)- Your diving insurance must cover all of your scuba diving and snorkelling activities, including the costs for recompression chamber treatment and emergency air evacuation.

Malapascua & The Visayas
All dives are guided and you can choose your own buddy on board or will be allocated one by the dive crew. Diving will be from the tender, with computers mandatory. The yacht offers up to four dives per day (2 dives on the last day) including night dives. Aqualung Mask, fins, BCD, regulators, 3mm shorty wetsuit, surface marker buoy’s (SMB), 12L (80 cubic ft.) tanks, weight belts and weights are provided. Dive computer (Sunnto Zoop), torches are extra. All diving onboard should be within the limits and standards of the training agency that certified you. All dives should be planned no-decompression dives.
The Philippines is a tropical country and the weather is fairly even all year round. The year is roughly divided into two seasons; ‘rainy’ and ‘dry’. The rainy season begins in early June through to November. The dry season runs from November through to May but there is always the chance of light rainfall during this period. The warmest months are usually March through to May and the highest humidity is in June, July and August. Year round coastal temperatures range from 27°C (82°F) to 34°C (93°F) Water temperatures are broadly similar throughout the entire Philippines region average 26 °C – 28 °C (78 °F- 82 °F); the coldest period is January – March with an average 24 C – 26 C ( 75 °F- 78 °F). A 3mm shorty is suitable but for those that feel the cold an extra vest or hood or full wetsuit is recommended.
