This seven-night and eight-day itinerary aboard the French Polynesia Master takes you from Fakarava to Rangiora. Each of these destinations offers wonderous diving. Diving Rangiroa’s reefs and channels you can expect to see grey reef hammerhead, black tips, silky, tiger and silver tip shark species cruising the reef, hunting on schools of snapper and fusiliers. Whilst drift diving through the 1200m wide channel at North Fakarava Island, you can experience incredible shark action, see huge Napoleon wrasses and witness marbled groupers spawning. As such a typical diving day will see you cruising through channels and exploring the outer reefs of the atolls, yet there are numerous of shallow dive sites within the Tuamotu Archipelago, each with stunning hard corals, sheltering all manner of crustaceans and mollusc. So for photographers, there are pelagic fish as well as Marco species available. Once finished with diving the four decks, provide ample space for relaxation, and with space, you dive equipment and camera preparation is easy. Our experienced crew will ensure you receive only the highest quality service on your diving vacation.
Dive equipment - Surface Marker Bouy, 12L aluminium dive tank (yoke valves), weights & weight belt - all other equipment is available for hire.
Transfers to and from the airport to the departure marina, on day of embarkation or disembarkation only. (No transfers in Papeete included).
Accommodation based on two people sharing (twin or double cabin) or single use (at surcharge).
Several land excursions are available, this will depend on location & itinerary.

All Master Fleet yachts provide their guests with a choice of international & local cuisine served in a buffet style in the air-conditioned dining area. The vessel can cater to special dietary requirements (within reason), please inform on booking about your requirements, well in advance. Also, a selection of fresh fruit and some tasty treats are readily available, should you feel peckish in between meal times.
A range of carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, black, green and herbal teas are available at all times, as well as instant and freshly brewed coffee. Guests may also select beer, wine or spirits from the bar for an additional fee.

NOTE: French Polynesia has strict diving rules;maximum of THREE dives per day;Advanced Divers all have a maximum of 30 metres regardless if a Deep certification is held;no un-guided diving;certification cards must be carried;your guides will be strict as checks are regularly carried out by authorities.You should also have over 50 logged dives due to the conditions.
All rental diving equipment is for hire, no inclusions - BCD, regulator with Occy & pressure gauge, mask, fins, snorkel, dive computer, underwater torch - pre-book possible when booking, payment on board. All Aqualung products - make and model will vary.
No International or domestic flights are included
Crew & Guide gratuities - if you wish to tip you can do so, tips will be divided between crew and dive guides (an envelope will be passed around at the end of the trip, please take cash with you for this).

Papeete only: Transfers from the airport to the marina & vice versa, embarkation and disembarkation points, in Papeete, are not included. Make your own way for a 12.00pm afternoon, departing from, Port Autonome, at the waterfront.

Travel & Diving Insurance is for the traveller to organize before travel - Your diving insurance is mandatory & must cover all of your scuba diving & snorkelling activities, including the costs for recompression chamber treatment & emergency air evacuation,(must be shown on board).
PADI medical statement will need to be signed, any "yes" answers will need a medical certificate - any medical costs associated are to be covered by the traveller & should be done in your home country as there will not be a local dive doctor available + Master Liability release & express assumption of risk agreement, to be signed.
Marine Park & Port Fees - USD - Tuamoto itinerary's: 7 Nights $70, 10 nights $90, 14 nights $120;Marquesas itinerary - $140; all are per person, per trip, payable on board.
All payment for extra services or optional activities is preferred in cash (USD, then CFP, EUR, AUD), however, if by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) it will incur a 3% surcharge.

Tuamotu Archipelago
The yacht offers up to three dives per day including night dives, due to regulations. All dives are guided & you can choose your own buddy on board or one will be allocated to you by the dive crew. Diving will be from the tender, Dive computers & Surface Marker Buoy's (SMB) are both mandatory. 12L (80 cubic ft.)tanks, SMB's, weight belts & weights are provided. Rental equipment is available on board at an extra cost. All diving onboard should be within the limits and standards of the training agency that certified you. The Climate is tropical, but moderate, and very humid. The average temperature sits around 27C(80F)with water temperature ranging from 26C (79F) in the winter (May to October) and 29C (84F) in the summer (November to April). Most guests find that a 3mm shorty are suitable for the water temperature, but for those that feel the cold an extra vest or hood or full wetsuit (if you desire) is recommended. Whatever you feel most comfortable in.
